Appeal against award: An appeal can be filed within 90 days from the date of award. At the time of filing of appeal, 50% of the awarded amount or Rs.2, 500/- whichever is less has to be deposited in the manner directed by the High Court.

The written statement is required to be filed by the insurer either by admitting or denying liability within 90 days from the date of service of summons.
